  : The location was the positive. There were all the appropriate dishes, coffee maker, glasses, etc needed for the stay. A large refrigerator. A roll of paper towels and plenty of toilet paper.
  : Where do I start. We rented an apartment for the location & have a comfortable place to stay at days end for the week. Sadly, It was neither of those. 1. As I said, location a positive, but location was more a negative. 1st night, a night club is located in the alley by the bedrooms & filled with people talking, laughing, cursing until 3 am twice. I originally asked if fans were available for each bedroom prior to arriving (no A/C) was told we could open the windows as no one ever needed a fan; or could purchased them & would be reimburse for 1 as a reply. The noise was unbearable with the window closed, I couldn't imagine it open. In the morning I opened the window & the alley was filled with bottles, cans, trash and a smelled of urine. So even with it empty of people the odor from the alley would make it impossible open. One other night people were just sitting in the Alley drinking & generally loud until midnight. 2. The condition of the apartment needs updating: back of bathroom door peeling; 1 bath shower head kept falling, the other shower head unadjustable; both bathrooms had visible mold. Glass shower door found under bed. 3. 1 bed had such poor springs you could feel them as you moved during the night & it felt like a trampoline; the other bed was rock hard. 4. Not one piece of furniture in the living room was comfortable. 5. A reason we chose this apartment it had a washer, worked fine, but then the rack to dry your cloths on was broken, rust on edges and needed a chair to stand; wrote to booking asking for a new rack I was told that the owner required photo's and would let us know their response after they saw the photo's. 6. Towels- given 4 towels and 3 hand towels for 4 adults, so thin if you have a head of hair and want to dry it then yourself you'd be drying with a wet towel. I asked for 4 additional towels because of this, I was told there would be an extra cleaning fee. What??? 7.
