  : location is UNREAL. right in the centre of old town you walk out the front door onto the royal mile. bathrooms were great and the whole place was consciously being cleaned throughout the day - free period products in the main bathroom near the lobby. communication was good - recieved whatsapp messages every morning offering breakfast
  : firstly was confusing to find, its hidden in a little corner of parliment square that i walked right past twice. i was in the courtroom dorm. the matresses were really uncomfortable and i was waking up quite sore each morning. the demographic in this dorm also was quite startling to me - lots of middle aged men (like 40's/50's) which i did not expect and was uncomfortable for a girl by herself. i could stay here again but would book a different room next timeyou also have to be a bit nimble to get into your pod, as you enter from the top end

  : Great location, solid kitchen area, clean bathrooms. All guests I met were respectful
  : Beds were hard and not particularly comfortable (other travelers complained as well). No dedicated common areas to meet other folks
