  : Close to the castle and huddle and bussle of Edinburgh.
  : No mirror in bathroom, Bed squeaked, shower door opened wrong way and leaked water over bathroom floor.

  : The location is very great! The single room was better than I expected! A big bed, heating, all was very authentic. And the whole guest house was very beautiful! Good value for the price! Location is good. It took me about 20 mins to get to the Edinburgh castle.

  : Great location, everything was a short walk away. The room was comfortable and clean and it was warm. Check-in was very easy. Mostly quiet except for the early risers.
  : It's not great if you have a car. There is street parking but when I got there at 6pm, there were no spots. I waited around till 6.30 when other spots became available and grabbed one. I then had to get the car out of that parking at 8am and I parked in public paid parking for the day.

  : Nothing. This place is nothing but a halfway house.
  : The only good thing I can say is that the bed was ok. Empty beer cans outside should have been a warning but as we arrived late in the day, it was too late to move hotels. (Attending a concert at Usher Hall.) The outside bell was covered in tape and it had instructions to ring the 'other' bell and an arrow. We did and a gentleman called Adam answered and told us we were at the wrong door. Sent us back to the first door, waited for us to knock, then let us in! I did ask if he had a twin! The room looked like it was housing furniture ready for collection. The carpets were ragged and there were cobwebs in all corners. Health and safety nightmare, I could go on. I have been in contact with Booking.com. This place is advertised as 3 and I paid 188 for one night. Oh, and I will add that after I voiced my concerns, I received rather nasty texts telling us to leave the room. This was after 22.00 when leaving the concert. I pointed out that we were 2 females 60 and 42 and one with mobility issues. We were genuinely concerned about going back that night. Edinburgh is lovely, the concert was great but that ruined our experience. AVOID this place.
