  : Heard some strange noise over a wall - as there is no reception, there was no one to deal with it (no reaction on my e-mail). The room was pretty basic and not worth the price, but it was last weekend of the Fringe festival, so all Edinburgh was overbooked...

  : Location was excellent. Room was quirky with the bed up a ladder. Not for those with any mobility issues. Clean and tidy. Sparsely furnished but adequate for my stay.
  : Shower was hard to regulate the temperature. Room was I. The basement and quite dark.

  : Close to tram. Bed was comfortable. Good hot shower. Cute view of Edinburgh out window.
  : The pictures were misleading and made it look more modern than it is. It was fairly old and creaky which isnt a big deal but for the price I paid I expected more. Also not as close to the city center as I expected. The room could have been cleaner, the bathroom was TINY, and one night the water actually didnt work at all. Automated door system is more trouble than its worth. Construction site outside, though luckily it wasnt noisy. Would have been nice to have staff on site. It wasnt anything horrible or unsafe but I think its overpriced for what it is and would rather stay elsewhere next time.

  : Nothing, it was awful.
  : The stained towels, stained bed sheets, dirty mug, dust, cobwebs, the bed was so small I couldn't lay flat in it as it was sandwiched between two walls, but mostly the constant noise from water pumps in a cupboard by my room that kept me awake all night. I cut my stay in Edinburgh in half and paid to rearrange my flights home because I couldn't stand the thought of staying there for another night.

  : * location* common space downstairs (large table, fridge, coffee machine, comfortable armchairs)
  : * in the adjacent room there were devices that turned on regularly every 20 seconds. The noise, especially at night, was unbearable. Three sleepless nights. If you choose this hotel, make sure it is not rooms 11 and 12.I understand that such technical rooms are necessary, but they should be soundproofed or in a different place.

  : Good location, close to public transport, convenient store and shops. Walkable distance to the city. Clean and tidy room.
  : The vikey device (door key) showed low battery at night and was beeping constantly. Called to the customer service was asked to unscrew the device and change the battery ourselves, if not will have to let it bleep until it gets fixed the next day.
