  : Good location with free parking had bus stop very close by which takes you into the city. Nice clean room and friendly helpful staff.
  : Was quite warm in the room and could not open window very far to let some air in.

  : Braid Hills is a lovely old building with character and quirky nooks. The room we stayed in was huge, with a lovely bay window which flooded the room with light. The free toiletries were a nice touch, as well as an ironing board, iron and hairdryer. The food was fantastic, very well presented and tasty. Good selection of breakfast with a calm atmosphere.
  : It was clear some of the property needed updating, but this didn’t take away from our stay at all.

  : Views were nice and the bed was very comfy. the bus stop right outside the hotel was very convenient.
  : It needs updating. Carpets on stairs worn out. Bedroom furniture was very old. Breakfasts were not good. Black pudding was labelled as haggis and one morning there was no eggs. Dining Staff members didn’t seem very helpful.

  : The hotelmis full.of old world charm that transports one to a bygone era. Friendly and helpful staff. The food in their restaurant was well-prepared and they had a good variety which lead us to eat in most evenings. The hotel is situated conveniently across the road from a bus stop into the Old Town. The room was large and had a great view.
  : The carpets in the hotel show wear and tear especially on the stairs. Housekeeping has room for improvement as there was dust behind doors and dust on the chandelier that must have been there for at least a month. The cupboard had a door missing. The walls required a bit of paint and there was no replacement of drinking water. We were on the 3rd floor and water pressure was poor and the water at best was tepid (Luke warm)

  : Lovely big room with little kitchen area and nice bathroom. Good internet. TV was quite small and near the ceiling.
  : Breakfast buffet was sub standard quality.
